EcoColors and the Nichupte Lagoon Clean-up

Some days ago, the EcoColors team and some good friends and supporters participated in the 4^th Clean-up of the Nichupte Lagoon in Cancun’s Zona Hotelera.

Today we received the final results of this annual clean-up: All the 450 volunteers of different institutions collected that day over 7 tons! of trash of which approximately were 800 kg PET, 6,635 cigarette stubs, 3,761 tin cans, 1 ton of glass, auto parts, electronic scrap and several other types of trash.

As an ecological tour operator it is our responsibility to educate our clients about the importance of sustainability and f.e. recycling. Participating in these kinds of events, we always try to give a thought-provoking impulse for our current and mainly our new generations.
