Following our adventure we arrived to Corazal, a small village at the Usumacinta River. Next day we took a boat to cross to GUATEMALA; our next destination.
It was a long way but on a different kind of transportation toward EL REMATE. Definitely was worth waiting the sunset to swim in the Petén - Itza Lake. It was a relaxing and refreshing welcome to this nice country. The night seemed to be as usual but suddenly we assisted a real storm in the jungle, nothing dangerous just amazing.

For another view of this place we undertook the trek to the Cahui hill, considered one of the best areas for wildlife observation in Central America. Next time more!
